Banyoles is a city in Catalonia, Pla de l'Estany. It's the capital of Pla de l'Estany. There's a lot of tourism here and you can see the lake. It’s got a population of about 17.000

I like Banyoles because it's a friendly town. For tourists there are many places to visit: the lake, museums, squares,... My favourite place is the lake because you can do many things: rowing, running, swimming,...

Banyoles is about 20km from Girona and 120km from Barcelona. It's about half an hour by train but in Banyoles there isn't a train station. There are coaches, called. "Teisa".
